ABOUT FRIENDS OF ABRAMS FALLS

Friends of Abrams Falls was organized in the spring of 2010 by a group of landowners and citizens concerned for the future of the area.

The goals of the organization are to:
•Preserve the fragile ecosystem of Abrams Falls and environs.
•Encourage respectful and sustainable use of the land.
•Act  as a liaison between the landowners and the Washington County Board of  Supervisors and the Washington County Sheriff’s Department.
•Create a presence through trash clean-ups and the ”Wilderness Watch” program.
•Acknowledge the need for non-motorized recreational opportunities in southwest Virginia.

Photographs of Abrams Falls may not be published on the web or in other
media without the permission of the owner.

Any  problems encountered on the hike should be reported to us. Please include name, phone number, and snail mail  address.
